About

About Nexstella Insights

Nexstella Insights is where the team at Nexstella writes about the technology decisions founders and growing businesses face, and how we would approach them.

01 Who writes

Who writes

Every post is written by The Nexstella Team: the engineers and advisers at Nexstella. Posts carry the team's name rather than a person's, because each one reflects how we work together. Each post is reviewed before it is published.

02 Topics

What we write about

We write about the areas we work in every day.

  • Data and analytics: How to collect, model and use business data, from the first pipeline to the reports and real-time systems people rely on.
  • Generative and agentic AI: Where generative and agentic AI fit a business problem, how to build them safely, and when simpler automation is the better answer.
  • MLOps and LLMOps: Running models and language-model features in production: evaluation, deployment, monitoring and the platform work behind them.
  • Cloud and platform engineering: Cloud foundations, delivery pipelines and running costs: the platform decisions that keep systems reliable as they grow.
  • Product engineering: Taking a product from an idea to a first release and beyond: scope, architecture, quality engineering and the build itself.
  • Modernization and integration: Improving the systems a business already runs: what to keep, what to change, and how to connect it all without unnecessary disruption.
  • Security, governance and responsible AI: Security, data governance and responsible AI as part of everyday engineering, with frameworks treated as alignment, not certification.
  • Technology leadership: Technology strategy, architecture choices and engagement models: how to make technology decisions with an experienced partner.

03 How we write

How we write

We write from practice and from the way we work: discover first, then assess, design, build, validate, deploy and improve. We state trade-offs plainly, we say what we would do and in what order, and we say so when the honest answer is a simpler option, or waiting. We avoid hype, and we explain a technical term the first time we use it.

04 Engagement stories

Engagement stories

Engagement stories on Nexstella Insights are composites. Each describes how a typical engagement of that kind runs. None describes a named client, and none reports a client’s results.

05 Claims

What we never claim

  • We make no certification claims. Where a post names a framework such as ISO/IEC 27001 or the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, our work is described as aligned with it, and alignment does not constitute certification.
  • We do not name clients, show client logos or publish quotes from clients.
  • Figures from other organizations are always linked to their source, listed at the end of the post.
